The representative of a famous family won in the competition announced by  ORANGE GROUP in the spring of 2020 among the Union of Artists.  Over 30 works of masters were presented so that we could be most objective,  the sketches were numbered, and the names of the sculptors were strictly kept in secret. The jury voted only for a number and artistic taste. The number 11 became lucky for Serafim Charkin. Plastic and color solution suggested by the sculptor in his work, were to the taste both of the professional jury, and the company staff. There was consensus of opinions. And, in order to cast the statue of the ballet dancer, Serafim Charkin had to leave his house for three months, to go from Odessa to Saint-Petersburg.
