Gorokhovaya, 47 V is one of the iconic objects for the group. According to experts, the building is among the TOP 20 most interesting projects for the reconstruction of historical sites in St. Petersburg in recent years.
Recall that the company's service wing for the storage and pledge of bulky movables (pawnshop) was built in 1857 by architect Ivan Slupsky. 160 years later, Orange Group got it in the form of a skeleton of a historic building without ceilings and without most of the walls. But, based on the date of construction of the building, we were obliged to recreate the historical wall, and the project itself – to fit into the ensemble of the Haymarket Square. The bricks found during the dismantling of the building were assembled manually and used in the construction of the object.
The new project completely repeats the contours of the old building, only the layout has changed. And due to the overlap of the courtyard with a glass atrium, additional areas were formed. The total area of the new multi-height complex will be 5400 sq. m. One of the hotels of the IZZZI chain will be located here. The project costs amount to more than 1 billion rubles.
